The Healing, Training, and Research Clinic is a service of the Counseling Psychology Program, Department of Educational Psychology, College of Education at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
Services are provided by student clinicians enrolled in the Master's of Science (M.S.) in Mental Health Counseling and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counseling Psychology programs under the supervision of licensed clinical faculty.

The Counseling Psychology Program (CPP) places a high priority on the development of students’ multicultural competence in both research and practice. The clinic adopts a multicultural perspective as outlined by the APA Guidelines on Multicultural Education, Training, Research, Practice, and Organizational Change for Psychologists and the APA Division 17: Society of Counseling Psychology.
